How do I have a portrait commissioned: What size will my portrait be? How many subjects can I have in my portrait? How is my portrait delivered to me? When do I pay for my portrait? Will my portrait be framed when delivered? Should I get my portrait framed?
How do I have a portrait commissioned?
Easy! Simply provide me with a quality
photograph (at least a standard 6X4). The clearer the photo, the better
the result. Photos can be either
emailed or posted to myself
What size will my portrait
normally be? Portraits are normally drawn on A3 quality Artist paper. But you can ask me for larger!
How many
subjects can I have in my portrait?
Standard portraits have one subject,
however additional subjects can be drawn in the same portrait at an
additional cost
How is my portrait sent to me? Your portrait will be carefully placed in an Australia Post Post-Pak tube and mailed to you, or alternatively it can be collected locally.
When
do I pay for my portrait Once we have agreed upon style of commission, I will ask for a deposit of 50% be made. During the drawing process, I can e-Mail you the progress of your portrait. Full payment should be made once you are completely satisfied with the finished drawing and it will be then delivered.
How do I pay for my
portrait? Payment can be made by either Cash, Money Order, cheque or direct Internet funds transfer. Unfortunately Credit Card payment is not available.
Will my portrait be framed when delivered? No. Due to additional expenses to both you and myself in posting framed portraits, along with the additional risk of damage, portraits are not delivered framed.
Should I get my portrait framed? I recommended all drawings are framed behind glass to preserve the picture. You can do this personally at a price to suit yourself or have it done professionally. |
